Audience: Anyone who will be:

Using AIX at the command line to manage data, files and programs.
Using AIX editors and tools to create and modify data files and documents.
Using the AIX shell and tools to create applications and perform simple Solaris system administration tasks.

Prerequisites:
Experience with other computer operating systems, especially DOS or VMS.

Course Description: This course concentrates on the AIX operating system, its concepts and facilities for data processing, software development and database application. You will become familiar with the partnership forged between AIX utilities and the shell to creatively manage data.
